Ale je to absurdní, protože smrt je naše jediná životní jistota. Z tohohle světa nikdo nevyvázne živý.” Ve věku 58 let, po dlouhém boji s rakovinou, se Anat Gov připravuje na svou smrt. Vědomě přijímá svůj blížící se konec a přeje si zanechat duchovní odkaz, ze konec může být šťastný. Ve svém posledním rozhovoru čelí umírání s humorem a nevšedním klidem.


JCC Film Club and the Embassy of Israel in the Czech Republic invite you to watch the documentary “On This Happy Note” - about Anat Gov, one of the most influential playwrights in Israel. “Most people take being alive for granted; death to them is a complete shock. But that's absurd, because the only certain thing in life is death. No one leaves this world alive.” At the age of 58, after battling cancer for many years, Anat Gov is preparing for her death. Consciously accepting her nearing end, she wishes to leave a spiritual legacy: there can be a happy ending. In her last interview, she faces her upcoming end with plenty of humor and an uncommon serenity.
